We thought about one and only landscape the space combining the stores façades and the “opposite façade” made by the rampart.

Along with the graphic line of the garden’s lane, our look swings between the town and the great wall, between present and past.

Trees are following this oscillation between southern garden and northern sidewalk, crossing the street to be on one side or on the other.

Honey Locusts are coming after Silver Maple trees, Red Oaks and Incense Cedars. Color gradation of leaves strengthens the perspective effect on the top of the street.
