PUBLIC SQUARE OF PARCHAMP
IS BOTH AN ISLAND AND A STAINED GLASS WINDOW.

This place is surrounded in a clockwise way by rue du Parchamp, avenue Charles de Gaulle, avenue Jean-Baptiste Clément and rue de l’Eglise. You can see this site like a singular island in a grid-pattern made of the Boulogne-Billancourt city streets. Each massive islet occupying the place around it is opposed to the emptiness of the park, inhabited by Notre-Dame de Boulogne Church.

On this island, we made a multitude of lines to intersect with others so it constitutes a huge stained glass window on which is settled the church. These lines are represented by benches, low walls or simple limits between two surfaces of different materiality. Plants and flowers have bright tones, low-walls have a charcoal gray color and the floors have a pinkish taupe shade. This graphic and colored division gives rise to various spaces structured by 3 arbors which are also planted here to hide the parking lot.

The park in figures :
Created surface : 3,500 m2 of which 1,160 m2 of depolluting concrete slab of 250 x 96 cm, 62 ml of low-walls and 275 ml of concrete prefabricated benches, a 392 m2 play-ground, 3 metal barrel arbors, 1,260 m3 of top soil to plant 45 trees, 1,580 shrubs and climbing plants and 9,720 perennial plants.
