Taffeta is a tribute to Jacques Prévert through the enumeration of a collection of Beech trees.

Each tree will be august, solemn, majestic and unique. Their majesty will be realized in their tender greens and golds of spring, their summer foliage - sober, flamboyant, purple or gold, bordered with red or pink, their winter leaves - light brown that glow with the winter’s day sunrays, and their soft grey trunks that draw ephemeral Chinese shadows on the buildings’ brick facades.

Taffeta is a single material weaving together a multitude of places;
giving the Buissonniere School the feeling of a garden of abundance;
the Square des Tisserands, the sensation of an indoor garden;
the Square des Rattaqueux and the courtyard of Gambetta, the rigor that comes from their functions;
creating the feel of the poetry of Jacques Prévert, inevitably…
