It is important to know: 2009 is the year of the metamorphosis of the dragons. It was a time to be remembered! From enormous chrysalides they emerged, forgetting the worries and concerns of their past lives, becoming contemporary, beautiful and, as always, mysterious, in a million shimmering colours. This will be the case for the dragon of La Villette.

On leaving his chrysalis, frowning slightly, he turns slowly and nods his head with satisfaction, contemplating his brightly coloured large metal scales that play with the light. He has grown, he breaths deeply and fills with air. His garden is transformed as well.
The large grasses play with the wind and the ground is rejuvenated. The dragon unfolds his tail into the small children’s playground because he needs the space. Mischievously, he decides that he will play a joke on all the children who will come to play in a few hours. And, with a flick of his tongue, he gathers the games, the small slides, the climbing ladders, the suspension bridges and hides them between his scales.
With a last look at his reflection the Canal d’Ourcq, he laughs and says “Mirror, Mirror, I am still the most beautiful of them all.”
